We recently conducted a workshop on the future of skills in the language industry, specifically translation, in partnership with the Association of Translation Companies. The sessions were conducted using a tool called Natter, which allowed for one-on-one conversations about assigned topics which are being collated into a final report which we are looking forward to sharing in August.
The event produced some interesting insights, and we are looking into using the same general format for future workshops. If there are topics you would like to see us cover in these workshops, please email your ideas to us at communications@language-industry.ca.
