    The JCTC is seeking a dynamic new member from the private sector with a passion for terminology and for promoting it within the Canadian language industry! The ideal member will be bilingual (English-French) and have good knowledge of terminology in the industry and of the various technological tools used by terminologists. Expertise in online communications (e.g. website and social media management) would also be a valuable asset.     The European Parliament’s Terminology Coordination Unit, whose role is to coordinate the work of the terminologists in the translation units and to represent the European Parliament in the inter-institutional management of the EU terminology database IATE (InterActive Terminology for Europe), has undergone a major website overhaul. The site, which is devoted to promoting terminology, appears on the list of the 100 best language professional blogs from the language portal, a free online platform for language lovers (
